Several Months Led me here

May 2022 is the day I published my site and decided to ascend on this journey of photography. Little did I know it would lead me down rigorous paths that required a life vest and scuba diving lessons. The  TAMRON AF80-210MM F/4.5-5.6 35MM ZOOM was my go to lens for all wildlife photography. With a limited budget and very little camera knowledge I used the products that served the best purpose at the time. Fast forward several online searches, photography forums, and meticulous conversations later and I found myself face to face with the elusive Richmond Camera, a one stop shop for all photographers in the city. Why are they elusive? Because their hours are sporadic and most working professionals would never see the shops interior due to its limited availability only after 10 am. Not only that but closing time happens before people get off work. However, if you do get a chance to get inside its a beautiful spectacle of well designed merchandise and top notch photography equipment. I managed to make it in finally. I threw my 2006 Nikon D80 on the counter with my old Tamron lens and pleaded for a replacement. I was met with a State of the art Nikon AF Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D IF-ED VR with a sticker price of $400. This was his basic bare minimum lens. Prior to this encounter my lens mount was cracked. It was a horrible feeling knowing my lens was in perfect condition but wouldn't stay attached to my camera. If only I got the 4/11 on camera and lens protection before I got my vintage equipment, maybe I wouldn't have stuffed my camera and lens attached in my pack and threw it around like a cabbage patch rag doll every day. Regardless this particular day I could not justify paying over $400 for a lens when my camera wasn't worth a fraction of that. Understanding this and observing the puppy dog look on my face, he gave the the hidden website for photographers for all walks of life. Well, maybe hidden from me because I didn't ask enough questions the entire year I had the camera and broken lenses. I proceeded to go home and research this site and low and behold it was credible. I found inexpensive lenses that blew my old decrepid pieces of relics out of the water. I purchased only the nesseccity, three lenses that will allow me to take decent photos of basic wildlife and portraits when I decide to reactivate my donation based services again. Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to introduce you to Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO D Macro Super Autofocus Lens, Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED Autofocus APS-C Lens, and last but not least my Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 D Autofocus Lens.
